WrightROAD

The WrightROAD Class is for individuals with traffic citations who have been referred by District Court to participate in a traffic safety course. This class is held in person only.

The WrightROAD Class will provide the Safe Communities of Wright County’s “Review of Acceptable Driving” course, along with an overview of the latest traffic laws so experienced drivers can become more aware and make better decisions behind the wheel.

CLASS  INFORMATION

Classes are held on an ongoing basis at the Wright County Law Enforcement Center, 3800 Braddock Avenue NE, Buffalo. For upcoming class dates and times, call 763-241-9888 or view available dates by clicking on the links below. Preregistration is required prior to the class. Classes are 90 minutes and you must attend the entire class for credit. Late arrivals are NOT allowed in class. If you are late or fail to appear, your class fee will be forfeited and you will need to re-register AND re-pay.

FREQUENTLY  ASKED  QUESTIONS

  • What if I don’t have a way to sign up online or cannot get to Wright County Court Services to register? Any person may register you for a WrightROAD Class. by following the link, as long as they have your information. They will aslo need the court paperwork issued to you and the course registration fee of $75.00.
  • Can I transfer to another date after I have registered for a class? We discourage transferring classes, but if you need to reschedule, we can do a one-time transfer to another class, however you will be charged a $25.00 transfer fee.
  • How long do I have to sign up? You must register for the class within 10 business days of being ordered. You may choose any class that is open and posted on the website at the time of registration. It is your responsibility to ensure the class is completed by your court appointed deadline.
  • Is this class open to the public? This class is not open to the public. It is only for those individuals who have attended court because of a traffic violation and have been referred by the judge to participate. Any person who registers for this class and has not been given a court referral will lose their registration fee and will still be required to pay their citation.

CLASS  REGISTRATION

You must pre-register for the WrightROAD Class within ten business days of receiving your court order. There are two ways to register:

1.  Online registration is available by clicking one of the links below. You will need your court paperwork and a Visa or MasterCard.

2.  In person registration is taken at Wright County Court Services, 3700 Braddock Ave NE in Buffalo. Court Services office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday -Friday. Closed on holidays. When registering, please bring the issued court paperwork, I.D., and the course registration fee of $75.00.

Classes for Teens

For drivers under age 18

If you were under age 18 when you received your ticket, you must register for a Teen class.

Classes for Adults

For drivers age 18+

If you were age 18 or over when you received your ticket, you must register for an Adult class.
